( About Stephan Conway and Paul Meyer )
The changes in the work environment are making it increasingly difficult to have a secure career plan with one employer. Organizations need people who can learn quickly, solve problems and come up with creative ideas for sustainable competitive advantage. As managers and employees, we will want to build skills and confidence to ensure ongoing employment for growth and promotion. That means you have to take personal responsibility for your own career, which means regularly reviewing whether your current work is meeting your career goals.
Usually after a period in work there may be periods of high stress, a feeling of frustration at not being able to change your routine, inner dissatisfaction and even a sense of not belonging. These could be signs that change is imminent. Volume 2, Career Enrichment is about getting more out of your existing career and being better prepared for change. It is also designed to help you manage your career and increase your self awareness. In this way you are able to have an influence both within and outside the organization you work for. The reader will learn keys to achieve personal and business satisfaction.
This book has been written for executives, managers, supervisors, business people and students or employees who are seeking more personal development. It helps with career knowledge and provides self -assessment tools for the future. It is particularly useful to monitor your progress. ( Ref: Volume 1 )
The practical tools in this manual will encourage innovation and creativity in your career as well as feed your self-esteem, confidence and motivation. It also increases your leadership ability by encouraging creativity, risk taking and knowledge sharing.
